BOOKING POLICY
1. BOOKING CONFIRMATION:
DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of $30 is required to secure the booking.
BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the day of the appointment, before or after services.
2. CANCELLATION POLICIY:
NOTICE POLICIY: Clients must provide a 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule appointment.
CANCELLATION FEE: A non-refundable deposit fee of $30 will be charged for late cancellations, especially if the cancellation is less than 48 hours’ notice.
NO-SHOW: If the client fails to show up, they may forfeit their deposit. All deposits paid by client will be refunded if appointment is cancelled within 2 days prior to booking date. After the 2-day grace period the deposit will not be refunded or transferred.
ARTIST NO-SHOW: If makeup artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform artist’s duties for any reason, the deposit paid will be fully refunded by Appley Pay or Venmo within two (2) weeks.
3. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:
DELAYS: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays. Contract will state the times late fees will begin and the amount charged and will be initialed and approved by client.
ADJUSTMENT OF SERVICES: If the client is late, the makeup artist may have to shorten or extend the time allocated for services.
4. TRAVEL FEES
A location fee of $25 may be applied to locations exceeding outside the main town of Union City, CA. A location fee of $50 may be applied areas within Alameda County. A location fee of $100 may apply to mainland California State and other locations outside of Alameda County.
5. CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS:
TRIAL POLICY: A trial makeup (consultation) is available for services that do not include one (i.e., bridal). This is a separate fee and is due when trial service is rendered. Please contact at least 2 days in advance to reschedule a trial makeup.
LATE ARRIVAL, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING FOR CONSULTATIONS: The same policies as full appointments may apply.
6. SPECIAL REQUESTS:
If clients can request specific products, styles, or services, and whether extra charges may apply for customization.
7. PAYMENT METHODS:
Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, & Cash App.
8. HEALTH & SAFETY:
Clients should inform the makeup artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the service. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they arrive at the appointment with clean, dry skin unless otherwise instructed.
9. ALLERGIES & SKIN SENSITIVITY:
It is the client's responsibility to inform the makeup artist of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or conditions prior to the application.
The makeup artist is not responsible for allergic reactions or skin conditions resulting from the use of makeup products.
10. LIABILITY:
The makeup artist is not liable for any allergic reactions or skin irritation caused by products used during the appointment. Clients are encouraged to perform patch tests if unsure.
The makeup artist is not responsible for makeup wear after the session, particularly in extreme weather conditions, sweat, or other external tactors.
The makeup artist will not be held responsible for any dissatisfaction with the makeup application after the client leaves the venue.
The makeup artist is not liable for any injury or damage caused by the makeup products used during the application.
11. FORCE MAJEURE:
The makeup artist will not be held responsible for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, or natural disasters.
12. NO GUARANTEE OF LONGVEVITY:
While every effort is made to ensure your makeup lasts throughout your event, the makeup artist does not guarantee the longevity of the makeup due to factors such as skin type, weather, and activity.
13. USE OF PHOTOS:
The makeup artist may take before and after photos for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Client's privacy will be respected, and images will not be used without prior consent.
14. Agreement
By booking services with Saku Beauty, the client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above.
